I know this can happen, people can go through a phase but most of the time people just suppress that part of them to feel like they are accepted in society...then end up having a lot of mental health problems later on as they can't hide their real self anymore. People can have fluidity in their sexuality, but there's a huge difference between being "cured" and just shifting your preferences. "F66.1 Egodystonic sexual orientation The gender identity or sexual preference (heterosexual, homosexual, bisexual, or prepubertal) is not in doubt, but the individual wishes it were different because of associated psychological and behavioural disorders, and may seek treatment in order to change it."
