Β Trust me on this. Fox and ABC are 720p; most other channels are 1080i. (You can also include Fox- and ABC-owned cable channels in the 720p list, like ESPN.) Last I heard, there were a couple of individual ABC broadcast affiliates that ran in 1080i, for quirky reasons; but those stations had to convert from the network's 720p feed to get there. Β They must have changed their picture format recently then, i don't see neither of these channels so i can't argue with that. But i know that ABCΒ broadcasted in 1080i before from the videos that i have downloaded. I'm sure Gaga thanksgiving special that i have is in 1080i, because you can see little horizontal stripes on the movement in the video. I had anΒ upscaled version of TEOG on American Idol (fake 1080i) it didn't had these stripes and it seamed that the video was lackingΒ clarity, then i did littleΒ researchΒ and find out that FOX broadcasts in 720p. With Gaga Thanksgiving video the picture is very clear when it's not moving, i can tell that it's 1080i by looking at it, if you're still not convinced, i have originally downloaded this video from TrollHD, and this guy NEVER upscales the videos, if it's 720p, he will upload in 720p TrollHD = quality Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
