Aren’t these the same people afraid that hollywood is trying to turn their kids gay. 
 

Anyways, I never would’ve watched it if it wasn’t for their complaints and I just have to say yasss I live for softcore **** at the grammys!

Parents complaining is what should be slammed. Change the channel it takes 2 seconds, and at that hour ur kids should be asleep, it's not Cardi or Meghan's responsibility

The costumes were maybe roughly on par (although it's not the costumes I have a problem with but rather the raunchy choreography and song content) but Dua's performance was clearly not on the same level of raunchiness. She didn't even change into her racier outfit until the last 2 minutes and her raunchy moves were minimal. She didn't grind against a pole, twerk, spread her legs in multiple different ways in a leotard or mime scissoring another woman on a bed. And her songs were kid-friendly songs about love and break-ups whereas Cardi and Meghan's song was so explicit by design it had to be censored beyond recognition. Parents have complained about white popstars outfits, choreography and songs for years. Madonna, Spice Girls, Britney, Xtina, Gaga, Ariana, Miley, Little Mix, they've all been blasted by parents for being too sexual. And they were all white women or were part of groups consisting of majority white women. Trust me, parents are just focused on the sexual expression first and foremost regardless of who's doing it.

The 2019 and 2020 Grammy Awards had the certificate of TV-14.  Idk about the 2021 show.

"TV-14: Parents Strongly Cautioned

Intended for children ages 14 and older in the company of an adult. Possibly contains intensely suggestive dialogue, strong coarse language, intense sexual situations or intense violence."

Not that people pay attention to those ratings, but in theory parents were warned of the content if it was rated TV-14.

Edit:  Just found it.  The show was TV-14 in 2021 also.  But as has been pointed out, kids will just watch it later on YouTube when the parents aren't looking.
