BTS fans think people deserve an award when their fans are gonna spam and vote, not every award is a matter of how hard your fans can spend days voting.

I am authistic, so don't be offended if I make a mess sometimes.

They are to blame for their fans toxic behavior honestly. They are just making it worse with comments like this. Instead of saying something trying to calm down their crazy psycho fans they are doing this ****.

If you know them or kpop industry in general, they would never say anything to cause any minor controversy. RM probably said it as a joke among their group.

it’s very simple to explain really:

Dynamite was just a meaningless, happy-go-lucky, energetic song. fun to listen & dance to, that’s about it.

BTS are just starting to garner popularity in the US, they have yet to build the respect within the grammy voting community.

In contrast, ROM is a song created through pain and trauma, a healing song. plus, gaga & ariana have been in the game much longer than BTS, so the grammy voters respect them more as artists. so of course they would pick ROM over Dynamite.

It was obviously a joke... ya’ll take something and run with it, why did you fail to mention the fact that they also said that it’s okay and that they will work harder next year in their other social media posts? That shows their character which is humble but of course some of you want to be one sided and demonize them for anything. It was a JOKE to poke fun at the situation, you can literally search the video of them losing where you can see RM saying ‘I knew it’ under his breath, they didn’t expect to win as much as you think they did, they didn’t come entitled into this. They also laughed it off. Come on, stop being so hateful to these guys it says more about you than them.

Why are they not getting that you have to earn the respect of your peers in the music industry to actually win? Gaga has been a pop branch darling (Joanne even won), and BTS still needs to work on getting recognized by their peers. It's their first nomination ever and they are not a Billie Eilish yet to win it immediately.

I literally went back to see that vlive again and RM NEVER said that... see for yourself if you care:

Turn on the captions from the settings, they repeated time and time again that they are greateful for even getting the chance to perform, that it was their dream, that they are disappointed of course but that they will work harder and there are no harsh feelings. I am sorry but stop spreading fake articles, check the source before you make a post that creates more hate.

Right, not entitled at all :trollga: Let’s not pretend they don’t lead their fans on. :poot:

I didn’t defend these toxic armies, I was talking about the boys who said and did nothing wrong, they were very gracious about their loss. How are they leading their fans on? Are they responsible for how their fans act? Can they stop them? Is Gaga on twitter tellings us to stop being a**holes when we drag other artists? No, no artist has the power to shup up their entire fanbase. The hypocrisy...

Would the news source write something that wasn't really happening? Especialy considering allkop is one of the major site for English language source. Also, foreign language is a complex thing, especially with Asian languages, which usually have more than two meanings to a word, one translator can have different understanding on what the words means compares to another translator, so unless you are native, or live locally and speak the language long enough to grasp it, you can't really say something weren't said or things like that.

... please, don’t even try to defend such nonsense. I am very aware that korean is a difficult language but the translations are LITERALLY from their vlive channel where their team updates the subtitles...

edit: not to mention this is a gossip news site not a reliable source for truth I mean it is full of rumours all the time

don't misinterpret what they're saying especially when they spoke it in korean. what i think he's trying to say is that if they are going to win a grammy someday, it would be better to have it in person.

yes armys are nasty and stupid sometimes but no need to attack the artists.
