gypsy101 5,453
Adele obviously comes to mind with both 21 and 25. Beyoncé with Dangerously in Love, B’Day and I Am... Sasha Fierce.
PartySick 160,206
Michael Jackson His 33x platinum record Thriller was #1 for almost 40 weeks and had 7 top 10 singles. I forget how many hit #1. I think just Billie Jean and Beat It. It also won 8 Grammys, a record only nearly rivaled by the likes of Adele and Beyonce who both won 6 in one nightAnd he broke down racial barriers and transformed music videos and pop music in general forever but this is a thread about charts and trophies so He did it again with Bad. #1 album, 5 #1 singles, and two Grammy wins. And AGAIN with Dangerous which debuted at #1, Black or White was the only #1 single (I think) and he won two Grammys but I think only one was for the album. And one more time with HIStory #1 album, You are not Alone was the first song to ever debut at #1 (Rain on Me debuted at #1 too ), and he won a Grammy for the Scream music video with Janet. I'm quoting these stats off the top of my head so don't read me if the numbers are not 100% accurate My icon did that four times Gaga's halfway to matching him With Katy meeting his record for most #1 singles from an album and Rihanna breaking his record for most #1 singles period, I kind of love the idea of Gaga meeting him on the critical acclaim/icon level. There's no one better Billionaires are a cancer. Even the ones you like.

There's no one better Off The Wall was considered part of the OTW, Thriller, Bad Trifecta, because they were produced by Quincy Jones, then it became a Quinfecta with Dangerous and HIStory
