Better Day 5,766
“Boris Johnson’s personal approval rating has surpassed that of Keir Starmer for the first time since May last year, according to a new poll that confirms a steady recovery in the prime minister’s popularity. Approval of the job Johnson is doing has increased by six percentage points to 45% over the past fortnight, while 38% disapprove – down three points. Starmer’s ratings have held steady, with 34% approving, up one point, and 29% disapproving, also up one point.” Source: https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.theguardian.com/politics/2021/mar/14/boris-johnson-is-voters-clear-choice-for-pm-in-new-poll Bojo is my preferred people to be in jail. Rj Barker 3,331
This is because of the vaccine rollout. We all know he isn't responsible for it but the gp isn't the most switched on. If the vaccine rollout continues at current pace and we get our lives back by June as suggested then I see the tories securing power for another 5-10 years because of it. It continues to fascinate me how little ppl consider a multitude of factors going on and what realistically can actually be fully accountabke or credited to a politician or not Many ppl are literally just: Things are going well = i like our current leader Things not going well = our leader is trash Like put a little more thought into things ppl its not that hard to use your mind a little bit once in a while Here in Canada ppl are criticizing Trudeau so much for a slow innitial start to vaccinations and literally none of the factors that slowed us down were his fault and theres nothing he could of done. And i say this as someone who isnt even a big fan of the guy but lets give credit where its due and lets also not shift blame where it doesnt exist either

Labour should be challenging them on the increased police powers law they will bring in - but they wont.

The Labour party just feels like a sinking ship no matter what. I do think he could be a lot more assertive however he does a lot better than Corbyn ever did in PMQs - not hard to accomplish though really.
