All teachers I saw giving their opinions about this pronouns trend are against it, at least in my mother language. In my language there's no neutral pronoun, and there will never be. It's she or he only.

I'm trans and have had to separate myself almost completely from discussions of transness on this site after being directly and indirectly mistreated for that fact. I'm really grateful for the rise in allyship I've seen on here in recent years, but the vitriol has grown to at least match it

The trend is so obviously transphobia, not transness, but they're just too dense to see it  Progress in microsteps followed by constant regression is just exhausting and very damaging at its worse

A wholelife we have referred to men as he and women as she, my point is you can not change people or treat badly because they decided to stay with that. I referred to trans people as the sex they feel identify, "neutral gender" i will be referring to that person as their sex until they decide what they want to be.
