yeah it's not a trend. trans/nonbinary folks have always existed - just in the shadows and fringes, opressed by norms and laws set in place by imperialism, colonization, etc. People are now finally having the resources, visibility, and public awareness of identity politics - giving people options they maybe didn't realize they had before.

1) it doesn’t affect me personally except that I wanted to know something which I didn’t know. I was asking an on topic question in a discussion thread. 
2) yes, I’m sure everyone I have seen using she/they pronouns are hyper-liberal cis females, hence my question

Except it does? They/them for a singular person is grammatically correct and any person should have the right to be adressed as they see fit. If it doesn't make sense to you, I recommend taking a college course or something cuz it's really not that difficult to grasp the concept of someone embracing two sets of pronouns for the sake of their own happiness and emotional wellbeing. She/they is simply she/her pronouns and they/them pronouns being interchangeable

Some of us just dont see the sense in all of this "pronouns" things and i think thats ok and is not a reason for bullying us, call us ignorants or believing yourself superiors, as a community that seek respect and tolerance you should also be tolerant and respect others people opinions. They excluded sam smith from the brit awards because he doesnt define his identity and now thats a reasons to cancel the brits? This is way too much.
