AstraZeneca is still a good vaccine, let's not trash any vaccine 'cause we need all of them. As a matter of fact, as it's been observed in the UK, AZ always (100%) prevents death and a severe disease, even with Pfizer you don't have the same effect, there's been few cases of infection with serious symptoms (but of course it has other positive aspects, as this thread states).

Every vaccine has shown a 100% efficacy on preventing death and hospitalisation. That is the most important data. As long as everyone is vaccinated, the virus can exist and be transmitted but it won’t cause severe disease. The media should really stop putting the different vaccines against each other, because there is no need. In this day and age, it doesn’t matter which vaccine you take, but that you take one!

They are apperently all effective against transmission btw. Its important people know that so we don‘t have the Situation that people won‘t get a vaccine from a certain company (for example in germany where people didn‘t appear to their sheduled date just because of the company)
 

Obviously 94% is huge but I think it is important to focus on the fact that all of the vaccines are effective (to some extend) against a transmission

Do y‘all read the news? Astra is doing much better then predicted/during the tests.

Also I think its important we don‘t start a „this vaccine is better“ discussion. We literally need any dose possible and shouldn‘t start with this. In germany it was a huge problem (as I said before) that people didn‘t appear to their sheduled date only based on the vaccines company
