Guys, you do realize that this film is NOT a documentary, this is a legit artistic movie, directed by Ridley Scott and written by Roberto Bentivegna based on the book by Sara Gay Forden. Gaga is to play a role written by some artist and will be directed to execute a certain artistic interpretation, she is not recreating a real life, even though it's based on a true story. She really doesn't have to meet anybody and try to copy some "real" person. I really hope some of you realize the difference between documentaries and movies...

Honestly some actors go to dangers places like slums or prisons to understand the people and to do a better job playing them. It wouldn't be nothing new or different if Gaga had done the same with Patrizia. Plus, she already payed for her crime...

yeah she did pay for it, but that still doesn't return Maurizio from the dead. Killing someone or ordering someone killed can never be "forgiven" because you cannot undo this - even if you stayed a hundred years in prison.

that's Gaga's decision to make. If she doesn't feel comfortable sitting down with a convicted murderer than so be it. maybe you would meet with her, but Gaga wouldn't. why is that a bad thing?

But has any actor actually sat down with a convicted murderer they were portraying? Because that’s in a whole different league than visiting a prison for a role as a prison inmate, or visiting a slum to play someone in poverty.

She prob didn’t try because Patrizia said Gaga was too ugly to play her and didn’t want the film made. Not much a point in reaching out then lol
