This is usually how big movies are filmed. Tight schedules bc time is expensive. Don’t worry they’ve done this a million times. And don’t forget there have been months of rehearsals prior to shooting.

What I am really looking forward to see is how they will make her look older through the decades, judging by what we’ve seen so far from the candids I can’t see a big difference in her face, maybe because the candids are low quality, but I’m wondering if they will age her afterwards with special effects in the editing process .

It will definitely be a test for Gaga, BUT critics are also kind of...mixed...on Ridley. He's a legend, but his output has been mixed over the past decade. IF Gaga doesn't pull it off completely, I suspect the critics will go after Ridley more than Gaga.

I think after stanning for someone for so long, we often get traumatized by how media treats celebrities because we want to see them succeed. But we forgot we gotta focus on our own lives. If we don't, we would waste our own time to do what we need to do to succeed in our own lives. There is a reason why actors rarely care about what the media are saying unless it's an attack on their personal lives. They just go from gig to gig, reviews probably doesn't matter too much to them.

I'm very confident that she'll do fine and that this movie will do fine. I mean with a cast, storyline, and director like that, I think it's going to be pretty difficult to mess up tbh.

Ridley Scott has been pretty much hit and miss in recent years with critics. No matter how good an actor is, usually if the script is bad, they couldn't save the film either.

He has been pretty spotty recently, but he’s still overall a good director. I have faith that the screenwriting will be fine too. Again, I feel like this movie will be difficult to mess up.

His biggest flop recently (afaik) was Alien: Covenant. And that's because he caved to public pressure and made an alien slasher instead of furthering the work he did with Prometheus (which I enjoyed, personally) and expanding the mythos of human and engineer history with a dash of xenomorph and Giger imagery.

I don't think we have to worry about that here but correct me if I'm missing something
