5 costumes and sets across different decades all within three days of shooting. It's like she has to play a 25yo in the morning and then immediately shift into a 45yo for the afternoon shooting, and then has to switch back again for the night session. This is the kind of pace only the most skilled actors could pull off.

If she nails this, then no one will be able to question her acting skills ever again.

On the other hand, it also means there's a non-zero chance that she doesn't.

Hmm yeah I guess I agree. Although I’m positive she’ll do amazingly but it’s true that her acting will be really determinant for her reputation in the movie world with this film. Especially since there doesn’t seem to be any music involved.

I think that's perfect recipe for Gaga

Max pressure, nothing else to think about, hard task

shell give her maximum and get done with it. She focus better and there wont be time for second guessing, plus it's easier to give a more uniform performance in a way. 

I mean it's difficult to maintain a character's way of moving with a long schedule and interruptions. It is an advantage. Ofc the problem is the stress of so many hours

I agree that it does seem extreme and she will really have work hard to pull it off but I also think it will work to her advantage in a way because the pressure from the schedule and the pressure she will put on herself will help drive her performance. I think we are all in for a huge surprise in the progression of her acting with this project.

The silence after the 911 MV was probably Gaga preparing for the movie role and preparing for the rigorous filming schedule. I know she is delivering her best.

Effective directing and editing can make miracles happen. I'm sure Gaga will do a great job but she's not the only one who will deserve credit

It's not all about multitasking and efficiency though. Acting is a different ballgame. To juxtapose between different life stages of a character within a day and do it convincingly takes extraordinary talent that very few have. Many top actors outright refuse to work this way.

Bruh, the director will not allow a flop performance. She's in great hands. Even if she effs up some places, no one is going to allow that to be the final product. And grl, trust our star. This is the same woman who flawlessly executed the best Superbowl performance in years. The same one who nailed the Oscar Sound of Music Medley. She got this!

It is SO quick, but I think we should bare in mind that she's been preparing for months and months, she likely had to audition several times, screen-tests, chemistry tests - if anyone involved was concerned about her performance she wouldn't even be on set. 

I think she thrives under pressure too and she's used to working at a very fast pace, I wouldn;t worry too much!

Being nervous or terrified about someone else's career is not a good thing. First of all, those are bad vibes to put out, it doesn't feel good when people are nervous and terrified for you.  And since Lady Gaga probably won't know, it's also a wasted emotion.  

And mistaking someone else's success as your own, or feeling successful or validated because you stan a talented person who is succeeding is very common on this site, but it's really not a good thing.
