The fight is far from over for us. What we got now is only 4 years intermissions.

Nikki Haley withdraws support for Trump 2024 run

BUT Republicans fall in line come election time, so I'm sure she'd change her tone if it became a reality

I think you read that backwards, she said she wouldn’t run if he ran again. Though I do expect her to run regardless. She’s literally been planning her 2024 run for years now. My ex boyfriend was hired by her team for her 2024 campaign back in 2019.

Oh :neyde: I thought the story was that Trump wanted her as VP and she was saying "I've changed my mind, I'm not interested in you Trump" :neyde: #BionicCantRead

EDIT: To be clear, what she is saying is that if Trump runs she will back him :gum:

I know someone who has been approached to work on strategy for another prospective Republican 2024 candidate (who hasn't ran before). I won't name names but it won't take much to guess who

Republican former President Donald Trump has told Fox News host Sean Hannity that he has made up his mind about whether he will run for president again in 2024.

Trump made his comment during a Fox News town hall that Hannity hosted on Wednesday night. "I have to ask, where are you in the process of," Hannity began before finally asking, "Without giving the answer what the answer is, have you made up your mind?"

"Yes," Trump responded. "It's not that I want to," Trump later clarified. "The country needs it. We have to take care of this country. It isn't fun, fighting constantly, fighting always."

I wonder how many republicans will even be alive in 2024 :laughga: McConnell and Fox News have started to beg their people on the right to get vaccinated since they realized straight up killing their voters isn't a very sound strategy :lmao:

I had the same thought recently. At this point, the GOP has turned COVID/vaccinations into such a partisan "issue" that Republicans must be the primary people transmitting and dying from it now.

Trump being the nominee would be one of the worst choices the Republican Party could make. Biden is soaring among independents and trump won’t be able to get them back after the insurrection.

Every Republican who survives COVID (which will be most Republicans that catch it) will see their survival as a reinforcement of the false belief that ~COVID is a hoax~ and ~COVID is no worse than the flu~

And then they'll breed a new generation :saladga:

It depends on how you define worst. Republicans that want to re-brand the party would view total destruction (another cycle of terrible polling and lost elections) as a necessity to take back the party. It's all about motive.
