Plus her label always picked her singles up until Rules I think (?) and majority of them are produced by him and I’m sure she doesn’t like her label... they didn’t even give the lead single of her debut album a music video (or candy which was a single and if that had a music video it could have been better promoted when it became viral) thank u, next Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

He gets a say in the singles and general A&R aspect of her projects – meaning if he wants to produce something on her albums, he can. The annoying part about that is that he had no problem ignoring her when nothing was happening with her career until she made moves herself and dropped "Mooo!" which got tons of hype, then he hopped on the train and claimed her as his artist even though he never even helped out with her debut. But overall she still has a lot of say, her success is pretty much all down to her being savvy. RCA has been great and allowing her to release projects fairly quickly, though, so she can get out of that contract. We have no idea how long it's for but the speculation is that it was a standard three album deal, although some think he trapped her in a similar deal Kesha is in, which was for 6 albums. I know right! Like Amala was such a flop, no mv for the lead and Candy didn’t get a video either being a single. They all just started liking her when Mooo! Blew up (clearly showing who makes sales is more important then the quality of the music). There's so many gorgeous female artists around but surprisingly, not all of them actually have much sex appeal. Doja has it in abundance. She just smoulders with every frame she's in and has an aura about her that's so hypnotic regardless of how she's dressed or what she's singing. I'm slowly getting into her music more now and hope to be more on board with her next album as she's so versatile with her musical expression and has so much potential.
