I think there are plenty of discussions of value to be had, in fact it's getting a little annoying that the one flippant statement I made on how tone deaf one part of the interview was (on having to use his massive, personal wealth after Daddy cut him off) is the one people are focusing on  

The discussions of their "fall from grace", the treatment they have received from the media, the racism Meghan faced ect. ect. ect. really have nothing to do with that one particular part of the interview I mentioned in one of my comments in this thread.

Like I don't know how what I wrote has anything to do with having zero sympathy for rich kids that fall from grace for being progressive champions. I also personally think the point of what would have happened if Diana didn't give her children millions in inheritance is moot, because she did, it was MORE than enough to survive comfortably on and as a result I really don't think the Royals had any obligation to provide financial support once they chose to step away from Royal life.

If she didn't and Harry and Meghan were plunged into poverty then it would be a different discussion - but talking about how, hypothetically, "IF this was the situation and then IF they then did this" isn't a valuable conversation in my eyes because we could easily say "IF Harry didn't inherit a fortune from his mother and wasn't rich in his own right, then maybe Grandma would have bought them a little castle".

No not all, I read my comment to you as being a bit too harsh - I think i'm just getting to the point where it's way too late where I am, I have work tomorrow, I'm tired and I'm getting grumpy over having to go around in circles over a point that I really don't feel is that interesting and that I feel is being plucked out of context haha.

I just looked into the backstory of Megan. I didn’t know she ended her marriage by sending the ring back in an envelope and a note saying « it’s over » wtf. And according to her exfriends she had this whole plan of going to the UK and meeting prince Harry, yet during the interview she said she had no knowledge of the royals or who Harry was. Wtf. Or that she didn’t know you have to curtsy to a queen? My 6 year old cousin knows that and she doesn’t even know any members of the royal family and we live in Canada. 
 

Also, how could Harry not inform her that Archie wouldn’t get titles until his Charles becomes king. That’s how it works, not because of his skin color. 
 

And I already said this but Harry expecting the government to still pay for his security when he left the family and country and is a non working royal is ridiculous. 
 

Not saying I support the royals and I def think the tabloids have been awful to her but I def think she is a fake given her past and the stuff she says.

By all accounts Archie WAS offered a title but it wasn't the one they wanted.

I’m not saying I understand the logistics of it all, but Harry was born into that system and people wouldn’t simply stop harassing him even if he quit being a “working royal” (whatever that means). So they should still provide him and his family the protection needed to you know, live their lives the way they want to.
