The minimum wage was cut out for the most embarrassing reasons. 

- Kamala Harris easily could have ignored the senate parliamentarian’s advice (not ruling) as previous VPs have before

- Joe Manchin could have put his greed aside and actually listened to his constituents and passed the minimum wage.

- Sinema just was on some dumb **** and says she supports it but thinks Dems can get 60 votes for it bc she and Manchin oppose the filibuster’s death

Once you realize the childish reasons why things don’t get passed, it warrants angry responses.

Tbh progressives could play hardball just like Manchin and threaten to vote no unless $15 minimum wage is included, meaning it wouldn't pass in the House without them as only 6 of them could prevent it from passing.

But of course MSM and liberals would gaslight them all the way and blame it all on them eventhough Manchin and Sinema were the real perpetrators here.

That's just how it goes. Progressives use the same tactics and maneuvers as these corporate hacks and there's a huge uproar and just accepted as okay and no big deal when the others or Republicans do..

Republicans want to slash all forms of welfare, kick 700,00 people off EBT, cut social security, and raise the retirement age. They lowered taxes for the rich (costing tax payers over a trillion dollars), employed destructive mismanagement of industries by cutting regulations dramatically which killed millions of jobs, and they clown around on the global stage while cozying up to far right groups of Nazis and Qanon all while fighting only for the rights of CisHet gun toting, god fearing men who could be potential soldiers in their imperial army of fortune.

Democrats (currently) are fighting to expand welfare to the most vulnerable, expand unemployment benefits for those that need them due to covid, tax the wealthy at a higher rate, fighting to raise the minimum wage, and they're fighting for the equal treatment of LGBT+, PoC, and women. Those among a million other things related to climate change, healthcare, medical science, immigration, etc. All while having such a slim majority in congress that the VP's vote is necessary to pass most bills.

Sinema and Manchin made it clear they would vote against overruling the parliamentarian, there's nothing that she could have done. Stop throwing **** at the easiest to target politicians and actually hold the people who blocked this responsible, rather than the people who are pushing for it to begin with. Say what you want but at least the Republican party knows where to put heat in their own ranks when things don't go to plan. Stop the mindless sh*t throwing im tired of it.
