Just because Dems have more power during this presidency compared to the previous one, DOES NOT MEAN EVERYTHING WILL PASS! If y'all paid attention in class, there is still branches a bill must go through before it gets approved. Negotiations/amendments between both parties happen as well in order for the bill be approved in each branch. Dems can't just say WE NEED A CAR FOR EVERY AMERICAN BY NEXT FRIDAY and then make it happen. This ain't The Oprah Show. This is REAL LIFE that deals with millions of people, not an audience of 100. You can't claim that a promise is broken when you intentionally seek your own unrealistic and frankly ignorant interpretation of said promise. Basically, people just want a reason to hate on Biden. For the very small moment that it looked like the $2000 was going to be $2000+$600, you already saw certain House representatives claiming that $2000+$600 was insufficient and that it should be $2000 per month. Sorry, but that's just a dishonest type of opposition. I'm not telling people to take an L - no, take a W. Stand for something and be consistent throughout, don't immediately up your demands when they are met just because you want to have a reason to dislike "liberals". And even more dishonest is to say that Biden isn't going to win over "other people" if he doesn't meet your demands, the lame opposition from the populist-left to what is one of the most if not the most progressive and populist bills the US has seen this century is most likely how he loses the next election.
