Presto 246 Posted March 4 so I was looking at Gaga's profile on ethniceleb.com (the #1 website for celebrity ethnicity and genealogy) and noticed something interesting... It says that her great grandfather, Antonino Germanotta born 1881, was the son of Francesco Germanotta and Rosaria Guerriero https://ethnicelebs.com/lady-gaga I'm positive that Guerriero is a Spanish last name? Like the wrestler who died Eddie Guerriero? Does Gaga actually have some Hispanic blood in her? 1 Share
 Facebook Twitter
Babel 39,548 Posted March 4 Guerrero (without the i) is the actual spanish last name. Guerriero may be a variation in... italian. Share
 Facebook Twitter

LilyLark 5,982 Posted March 4 It's an Italian name. That said, there are several Italian & Spanish names that are identical (not just because people of Italian descent immigrated to x or y or vice versa) as the languages share a lot of similarities. For example, Toro is a name found both in Italy and in Spanish speaking countries. Share
 Facebook Twitter

I think it took them a while to appreciate her and her Italian origins, I think the full acceptance happened after million reasons, she gave them THE Sanremo Festival song that they always wanted, since then, they can't stop listening to her.
