Once Ryan was confirmed to fully recover, the obvious priority of concern was shifted to locating the missing animals, who mean the world to both Ryan and Gaga. I read several write ups, and outside of what I think was AP most of the stories had headlines about the rewards/the celeb angle, some repeated the incorrect info from TMZ, and the news about Ryan was mostly regulated to the bottom. I actually think this is a prime example of how the online editions of the news industry often rush stories out to get clicks...basically, the "but her emails" style of reporting. I hesitate to criticize the media sometimes due to how awful Trump was and how he wrongly directed his ire at reporters, but I do believe there's some validity to the school of thought that the internet has really damaged the quality of reporting over the past ten years.
