Why are you always so celebratory when the UK comes into a problem? :saladga:

'Love seeing Brexit being a mess' - I mean... really? Why? Even if you disagree with Brexit, you surely want it work the best it can? Even Scotland's future will be influenced by the UKs ongoing relationship with the EU, especially if it becomes Independent. Talk about self-sabotage.

Also, the article isn't saying anything damning or too critical about Brexit.

It's literally just pointing out how the US will need to form a closer relationship with Amsterdam in order to influence decision-making within the EU. The UK/US relationship will remain strong - but it won't be critical to the management of EU/US-relations... obviously.

That's something Brexit voters wanted - to be removed from the EU process. That's the point of Brexit.

I celebrate because all the things that were classed as ‘Project Fear’ is coming true. The absolute pointless EU referendum has caused more damage. Uneducated people on the EU were allowed to vote and it has caused this mess. I stick by my gun. I’ve always wanted Brexit to be a massive failure because removing a country from one of the biggest trading blocks in the world was just plain stupid.

But the article you're op points to is literally just about who Biden will use to influence decisions in the EU. In no way does this show brexit being a mess. It's just procedure. We can't be the Bidens mouthpiece if we aren't in the EU. Post the article by all means but if you're gonna drag brexit or the tories over it, at least make it make sense.

I will admit I didn’t read the article but I am just pointing out the pointless mess of Brexit.

Just curious what will you gain from this? If Britain/UK fall, won't it become your downfall too, if you are a citizen?

I understand your wishful thinking that UK will rejoin, however, that scenario won't always work. EU could always refuse to take UK back, either because they are unable, unwilling or unready to absorb new members. It's not the first time UK been rejected to join EU. It may take a long time before it can happen. It may be way after your lifetime. EU will want to be sure that UK has truly changed and there is new broad and sustainable political and public consensus in favour of membership, and if readmitted, would play a full and constructive part. All of these will not happen anytime soon.

These are one of many other convoluted things that will cause issues for UK to rejoin EU. Rather than keep being bitter about it, which is counter productive, why not just work with what you have now whilst keep pushing for change?

I just want to be prove right, which has became true. I want to see the end of the union, I want to see the end of the tories and see them getting carted off to jail. I’ve accepted the UK will not rejoin the EU but the independent nations - Scotland, England and Wales - will join and have a better and more healthier relationship. I am working for change, I am working for Scotland to be an independent country. I just want to see the UK fail.

Lol the UK has already vaccinated a third of its population while the EU is majorly lagging behind and their pathetic leaders are questioning our vaccine’s ‘effectiveness’ to cover for their mass incompetence. You hate to see it.

And yeah, I voted Leave and I’d do it a million times over just to see people like you cry over it

You are delusion to vote leave. They were literally no benefits of Brexit. Leaving one of the biggest trading blocks in the world. Pointless.
