Depends on the company, some have like 3 year dating bans to make sure idols are focused on their career due to their debut (I think JYP did). (HyunA and Dawn supposedly lied to cube then backtracked which is why they LoSt tRuSt iN thEm).

Isnt it against the law there? So many kpop stars got cancelled for dating people why do they accept this couple? Not fair for the other ones who lost everything

The idols agencies, both K-Pop and J-Pop, usually only barred their trainees, and rookies aka new comer artists from dating cos they should focus in their career first. 

Both, Nini and GD are neither rookies nor trainees anymore. 

As for fans, they have their bias and anti, usually strong reaction only happen when the dating is rumoured to have courted a married man/woman, or man/woman who were already dating but strangely break up suddenly, then seen with another person soon after. Or that they cheated for their military conscription. Or that they did something illegal. Just by previously associating with that person will result in some form of scandal that the idol will be put into.

Also, don't forget, they are marketed as idols. Not just as artists. 

Hence, fans idolise their idols often to the extent of considering them their partner in a relationship (even though the idols usually don’t know them, or even remember meeting them).

To many fans, the fact that the idol is with someone feels as though they have been dumped / cheated on. Fans feel betrayed because of all the time and monetary investment that they did attending the concerts; buying fan merchandise; thinking about the idols many times in a day.

Some couples can get away because both side of fanbases approves of them getting together. Especially since Nini and GD are both from the same agency.

Welcome to the darkside of idol stanning world. It is whole other level. You think pop queens stans like in GGD already worse? These hennies are harmless compared to them. You see nothing yet.

Some of these hardcore idol stans are actually hardcore on the realest. They even go to the point to extort nearby taxi drivers by telling them they'd scream for rape if they won't take them to stalk their bias car quickly,  and also sold their body just so they can afford to buy plane tickets and follow their bias going around the world. Hence, sometimes, they'd get really insane when their bias is dating.

Some idol in Japan got her face slashed with a box cutter by a fan who was jealous she was dating. And she was the one who were forced to apologize for causing some commotion and hurt feelings to fans, not the attacker.

The other story, some idol members was stalked and harmed cos they are not happy she was newly joined and quickly becomes the popular member while the member the fan rooting for have to suffer. While on other occasions, fans will booed and stink eyed a certain member while they were doing live show when it was his/her parts, and even pelt them with rotten egss, if the member did something that displeases the fanbase until, again, their management forced the said member to publicly apologize even if the member didn't really do anything wrong.

Few idols had took their life cos they can't take these bullying and pressure.

That is just a few of many horror stories, it happens since forever. The 80s, the 90s, 2000s, 2010s, and it still going in the 2020s in different method.
