I don’t understand why America doesn’t solve this issue especially for people who pay taxes and have no criminal records.. make them citizens cause the whole immigration policies here are a freaking mess and a lot of people suffer from it

Absolutely hear you, and I agree we have a ways to go. But yes I'll keep voting blue over ANY member of the Republican Party for that exact reason you mentioned - a smarter, more polished Cheeto.

idk what people are expecting. biden is a middle of the road candidate. didn't expect much of the far left agenda to get done, if any; in fact i'm kind of shocked that he's even considering some of the stuff he is, like 15 dollars minimum wage. i know the far left is pushing him, but i'm kind of expecting him to ignore most of the agenda there at the end of the day and i didn't have any of these expectations going in and i still don't. i'll be genuinely surprised if even one of the things on the far left list of policy positions gets done . 

all that being said, still no regrets voting for biden in the general. the USA came so close to falling completely i'm just like.... okay settling for this at this point. (for now). 

especially considering that republicans remain crazy and they're gonna rear their ugly head again in the next election cycle, and they're only getting worse. in the big picture point of view i almost believe that the USA is kind of at the end of the road

in other words... i kind of think we're in the last era of "normal" aka the biden administration and the usa will soon be like totally taken over by crazies in the years to come (aka republicans aka the GQP, whatever you wanna call this insane fringe that has now somehow become mainstream)
