Reality 71,882 Posted February 18, 2021 Share Posted February 18, 2021 I've seen everyone so hyped about this trailer, but honetly...it looks...okay?? It doesn't look bad, but it could also look better. This feels in line with all the other video game movies we've gotten, and most of them weren't that good. Like, all the jokes and references feel forced, like, "Oh look at us guys! We looked at the source material! We did a good job, right???". Some of the costuming seems off, and while I love the blood/guts/gore, the CGI of that doesn't look the greatest either. Hopefully it's good. There is so much to the story of Mortal Kombat. We don’t have to follow earth realm, and the main white male, and the blonde female, and the ethnic friends along the way. They could have shown us Shao Khan taking over, killing the king, Mileena and Kitanas upbringing, they could have went with Sub-Zero and Scorpions back stories.
