Twitter users have noted striking similarities in things like glasses, his shoes, and even his mask. Ted Cruz has not spoken up to confirm or deny the rumors. Multiple reporters asked Ted Cruz's office for a comment, but they did not respond.

Multiple people are mad that Ted Cruz is doing this while Texas is suffering, stating that it isn't fair that he does this while other people in Texas are suffering.
