hepatitis can be prevented to with vaccines, but yeah people need to be careful, this should not be an incentive to be reckless. Virusses can mutate too so...

i meant more so people who JUST get the HIV vaccine + think they’re completely invincible to other viruses. i completely agree with what you’re saying

I mean it obviously will... ever since PrEP became widely available the gays seem to only be growing more and more against condom use. The whole ‘raw is law’ and ‘condoms are for the straights’ mentality is only gonna grow. But at least there’s hope on the HIV front. We are still so lucky

Wow thank you for this! I'm so glad treatment has really advanced leaps and bounds, and a potential vaccine is truly incredible. 

It's high time that regular people, like all of us, find a cure for another huge side effect of the virus — the stigma.

This! the covid mrna vaccine could be a HUGE step forward in general. Not only for covid. Vaccines for HIV and Cancer could be develeped thanks to it. The question is tho why they didn‘t come up with an mrna concept before  But lets see the positive side that is the possibility if actually prevent HIV or Cancer!

RNA vaccines have been around for a while already. They’ve tested RNA vaccines for rabies and Zika and other diseases before, the COVID one is just the first to be licensed for use in humans. But they’ve been testing them since the 90s
