Patrickern777 607 Posted February 14, 2021 Share Posted February 14, 2021 Hi everyone, I am asking for a big help from Monsters form East Europe (Bulgaria, Romania area) I haven't had a grate year in 2020 like everyone here, but i have found and explore some really fun, catchy and danceable sound when i had nothing to do, I am talking about Chalga/Pop Folk genere from Bulgaria, Romania/east Europe. I don't have any klue of what they are singing, but I feel really happy, motivate, and I forget all my worries when i listen to it. I feel that i am in an other world when I have my headphones in full volume, the uptempo songs with many old-school instruments from East Europe and morden bass is a good combination (try it for your self), So My question is, i need to find more Chalga/pop folk songs to have in my play list, It has to have a classical east European sound and a FEMALE vokalist (of mix) I can't read or write Bulgarian but i fond a few so you know what i mean. Italian 573 Posted February 14, 2021 Share Posted February 14, 2021 I'll give you some slightly more different recommendations - some of these are quite older but they are what I consider to be the golden age of this genre In general, the channel the has uploaded the videos in your post (Planeta Official) is the main label for this music in Bulgaria, what you can do is you can type the name of the singer in the search bar of the channel and you'll get more of their songs, you can also try to see what playlists they have on that channel, sorted by artists, year etc Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
plastiquedoll 147 Posted February 14, 2021 Share Posted February 14, 2021 I can't express enough how much I hate this genre of music and it's everywhere here in Bulgaria but there is some songs that I enjoy so here: The last song is not bulgarian and I don't know how much it fits in the style you search for but it's one of my favourites.
