MelbHawker 6,583 Posted February 14, 2021 Share Posted February 14, 2021 I’m in Melbourne... we’re back in lockdown for the 3rd time. Confined to home, not allowed to travel outside 5km of home. Our cases are up to 20 today. Im over lockdown. 6 of my last 12 months have been spent confined to home. It’s really tough mentally. Australia’s operating under a ‘zero Covid’ policy, or else lockdown til zero. Its so tough. But I get it, because the alternative is grim. It’s just.. unless you operate this way forever, you can’t keep Covid out forever. So.. things are just... aimless here. We’re not learning to live with this virus, or learning to adapt to it. We’re having every facet of our life stopped in order to preserve life the way it used to be, but disallowing all travel. It’s so messy. Life has changed. Covid is apart of our world now.
