Several dozen of the 6” deep potholes on the 15 minute trip to my job say hello... every day it is unavoidable to hit 3 or 4 of them to and from. It’s so nerve wracking, I’m just imagining my tires ballooning into the gaps as I pass over them, tempted to pop.... any day now.... fragment-fragment--bul-uh...scab-uh..fragment-foot, bullet fragment foot bich! The highways and interstates “gallop“, they’re uneven so in your car there’s a constant “da-dunk da-dunk da-dunk” going on. Some portions of the city have exposed brick on the ground from the original layout from the 1800s. Sometimes they will fill in potholes and another one will open up inches in front of it, and the quality of which they fill these potholes varies. There was one around the corner from my apartment complex that got pretty deep and initially they just filled it with gravel and sand, it looked like. But that lasted about a week. Then they filled it with pavement/tar. That seemed to work, except now the lip of the pothole seems to be growing out from underneath the filling. It’s like y’all. LOL. Could we PLEASE.
