Like literally no one has ever had to dissect a kitten in high school. An absolutely ridiculous scene that would certainly repulse most viewers really? we did that in AP bio sophomore year at my high school
PEZ 6,312
In my high school (Pennsylvania, America) we did: Biology (mandatory class): worm, frog, owl pellet Advanced Bio (optional class): squid, crayfish AP Bio (optional class): shark, cat, fetal pig The smell of raw 'seafood' combined with formaldehyde You knew as soon as you stepped in the building that it was 'dissection week' of the semester ⚡🐲

Gagaloo911 12,959
"Traumatic" People are so gd sensitive these days The fact that's considered traumatic is a disservice to all those who go through legitimately traumatic and tragic things. Oriane 21,236
In my class we did frogs and mice, we were working in pairs and we had the choice to get out or just watch if we were uncomfortable doing it (we had the mouse, I let the other girl from my group do it, but then at the end I tried to cut the tail to see how it was ). @River @Supersonic @Magui Too lazy to create a new post and quote you, but I'm from France so we definitely do that here. lilboyblue 5,722
Fine if they wanted to show a dissection class, but they certainly didn't have to use cat cadavers in filming those scenes. Disgusting. Good that they are going to be edited out, though. This creative team needs to be reprimanded.
