Gaga doesnt have the same track record as Ellen tho. The worker abuse in the show has been ongoing for years on end. Ellen may not have been to fault all of the time, but how does it go on for that long? Clearly she swept it under the rug and didn't care until she caught heat from the public. I don't like this "whataboutism". Target and Walmart and other stores and large retail companies all have varying degrees work place abuse. I'm not opposed to the kindness thing, I'm opposed to people who overcorrect things/stretch the truth to get to a point.

I’m not talking about Target or Walmart. I’m talking about Haus Labs, her company, which made a profit of over a hundred million dollars last year.

But I’m glad we’re on the same page when it comes to the kindness thing.

You completely missed my point. I don't agree with people who confused kindness with just letting people scot free. Right now, people don't want to see her cry. What about the people who had to put up with a toxic work place for years? Ellen wasn't sad for them back then. Forgiveness comes after change is made. I feel like if any change was made is because she was being investigated, not because it came from within/good will.

I agree with what you are saying about Ellen and forgiveness being earned. Showing kindness doesn’t mean turning a blind eye. 

I disagree that Haus Labs doesn’t warrant the same level of scrutiny as Ellen’s work place drama. Both are examples of privileged individuals making decisions which create unethical work environments.
