She’s extremely promo-sensitive

Chromatica did really well, but would’ve completely SMASHED if the original promo campaign went as planned. ****ing Covid LOL

ok but it's really interesting to me why she's that promo-sensitive while other main pop girls for example can do just as much as she does or even less and still get more exposure or reaction to their music, it's puzzling idk

I tell myself it could be because of the whole "weird" reputation she built for herself that people still highly associate her with that makes them feel hesitant to actively check out her material, although she most definitely matured and drifted from it significantly but people still predominantly focus on that, so when they see what she has out when doing promo and it clicks with them, they go and stream/buy

I understand what you mean by promo-sensitive but it's also the fact Gaga has been throughout her career as much of a visual artist as she is a musician. The performances, outfits, interviews etc are all layers to her work more so compared to other artists hence why she gets a much bigger reaction.

moral of the story: she's a queen.

It’s frustrating how “dumb” the GP can be, like.. the music is right there but they ignore it.? It’s a shame that Gaga has to promote in order for them to notice, but it’s also because most of Gaga’s music isn’t trendy-sounding so it doesn’t do well on its own

I know it's been said here a 100 times - here's number 101. When she performs or does promo? It's insane how the GP responds. Like every single time. More than any other mainstream artist.

Don't know if this is true but I remember reading LG had the biggest ratings increase compared to the game. As in others may have higher ratings but it was because the game itself had high ratings.
