I literally cannot understand why we still haven't passed any measure of gun reform. A large majority of the country (Republicans included) want it but the NRA dumps so much money into the GOP all the kooks who shouldn't own guns are the ones making the laws

Haha, I wish. The filibuster still exists, and DINOs Joe Manchin and Kyrsten Sinema want to keep it. So that means 60 votes are needed to pass most bills in the Senate. Then there are the state legislatures...
