I don't think Plastic Doll and Barbie Doll have any sonic similarities though :awkney:

Damn you Corona. 90's euro pop is one of my favorite genres and Gaga did it so well. Chromatica deserved to be everywhere and played at clubs all year.

I made this thread a couple of months ago about those type of songs, you'd probably like some of them:

Well, I can hear French house influences in some Chromatica songs.

For example, this track seemed to have inspired songs such as Replay (also, the chopped vocals from Stupid love reminds me of this as well):

Babylon sounds really similar to Vogue.

Stupid Love is definitely inspired by Annie Lennox, in a really good way.

Rain On Me reminded me of The Music Sounds Better With You by Stardust (the bassline in the chorus).

The 90s sound is exactly what I adore about this album and I’m glad we got to hear Gaga being inspired by this amazing era

Alice

Rain On Me was DEFINITELY inspired by this (not 90s but early 00s)
