lol learn history kids.

1. this was a scandal back then and was pretty much all over the worldwide news, it was just too much and tasteless.

2. this was one of the last nails in the coffin that cause Britney to breakdown.

3. You don't need to "dig" one of the biggest stain of Sarah's career, it's just here, everyone remembers and it comes up every year and will still come up, if you don't know it, so I'm sorry don't come and reply to another important pop culture moment.

4. Suddenly when we laugh about the mental sick it's "snowflake" and it's funny and such.. GGD in a nutshell and then they post... "I feel sad help me I'm depressed" :smh:

So sploosh your juice all over me you Riverboy

Not the tweet calling Sarah Silverman “the media” lol. Their anti-semitism is showing. Honestly this is an unfortunate joke, but it is a roast. Celebs dealt with more bs back then. Britney stans need to focus on #FreeBritney and not dig up distasteful jokes from the Bush administration asking for an apology.

She was literally asked to roast her by the MTV producers. That's her job. Get mad at those people, not her. Stop being so topical and think critically.

There’s a difference between a good roast and a straight up humiliating and degrading of other person and her newborns.

If someone did this to you or even Gaga y’all would be jumping up and down out of your bitterness but when it is another artist suddenly it’s a cute joke. Also I saw someone mentioning how we are always dragging females? She was the one dragging mother of two babies in that video and is one of the reasons that caused her breakdown. There were backstage stories about Britney hearing those “jokes” and being desperate and crying after. The most disgusting thing is y’all are always preaching about mental health but when it’s time to show your support for someone who literally got mental health problems because of people like this woman in the OP y’all are suddenly so silent and so against the victim.

You mentioning something as serious as anti-semitism when it is clearly not what is happening here is one of the main problem of lowering those issues. Her name is literally Sarah Silverman and it is one of the most common names in the US there is. I bet 99% of people including me didn’t even know she was Jewish.

Considering the person asking Sarah to apologize isn't even american, lol what?

But Sarah Silverman, the person who made the jokes and is being asked to apologize, is American :yennefer:

What does that have to do with your statement though? What you said was making it seem like Americans are the one forcing her to apologize when that wasn't the case here at all.

The absolute hypocrisy in this thread, if this was about Gaga you'd be EXACTLY the same.

Don’t even bother.. This site is only pro positivity, mental health and kindness when it’s related to Gaga.. They forget all about that when someone else is mentioned. Bunch on mean spirited people.

People- GROW UP. She is a comedian. If you are that sensitive, then change the channel. Sarah Silverman has roasted millions of celebrities. That’s what they do. I swear some of you are too fragile.

2007 was brutal to Britney, she absolutely has the right to ask her to apologize, but I guess most people back then owe her one. She's not a worse person than any of them because that's her job to make this joke, it's just that sometimes people tend to laugh at somebody else's tragedy.

On the other hand, although we shouldn't make a big deal out of what happened 13 years ago, I'm sure an apologize will mean a lot to Britney. :ohwell:
