@Tinnitus15 Probably to thank them for the good work (they got free tickets). Or to silverline the event. Anyway, since vaccines are not fully tested, let's hope they will not catch the virus. And if they don't, this will increase trust about the vaccines. So finally, it looks like some sort of (probably paid) bench test...

:lmao::fail: (sorry)

Imagine risking their health too just to thank them...I mean I believe in vaccines since I’m a med student but still they are way too many questions about it’s effectiveness, considering the new variants...I think they could have thanked them in another way  and this was unnecessary :/

Local morning news in Europe are already filled with #superspreaderbowl best of tweets translations.

Shame is spreading even faster than Covid...

Even if it's less than 25,000, it's still CROWDS and CROWDS of PEOPLE that are not SOCIAL DISTANCING.

Lol Americans truly are the most stupid nation ever. They care about social distance but if it comes about their stupid sport event they don't care

Whispering

It was one third full. It was outside and the weather is mild with plenty of humidity.

People were either vaccinated or socially distanced and wearing masks.

Super Bowl parties and sport’s bars will be much more dangerous.

The state of Florida currently has no active restrictions or mandates whatsoever in regards to COVID-19.  It hasn’t had any for months.

That’s why the NFL chose Tampa.  So they can get away with packing a stadium.

That’s not true. Given the amount of planning required, the league selects host cities well in advance. It was back in 2017 that the NFL decided to play Super Bowl LV in Tampa.

Serial Chiller

I swear only Americans will go to this length just to watch dudes sweat over each other with a commercial break every 15mins.

Imagine risking your life or your family/community life AND to have to stand with cardboard cutouts just to watch a goddam sport match. :huntyga:

Theyre vaccinated health care workers and most of them are card board cut outs... if they weren't vaccinated I'd see the problem here.

Oh, and BTW. If yall did any research before you posted you'd see plenty of close up camera shots of the "crowd" and you'd see that there are clearly more card board cut outs than people. Stop falling victim to media click bait.

Again. They are vaccinated medical workers!!

The problem is… you can still carry the virus once you are vaccinated and pass it on to others who aren’t. While the vaccination decreases your chances of developing major symptoms/other complications, it doesn’t completely rid you of passing it on. Cardboard cut outs or not, there were still thousands in that stadium.
