If The Weeknd had real balls, he’d walk out of the event right now.

You know Gaga would...

I have no words anymore. There are 475k deaths (undercounted). They may be outside masked (a lot don’t seem to be wearing it correctly), but I can’t imagine how packed the entrance points are, or toilets, hotels, restaurants... Add the people that are partying for a stupid football game during a pandemic as well.

We are in a race to vaccinate everyone before deadlier, easily spreadable variants emerge and make the vaccines less effective. I’m speechless at the stupidity, but I guess us humans deserve it.

This is so stupid. Everywhere around the world tournaments are organized without an audience, but Americans keep proving they don't care about human lives, even Miley's event was full of people without social distancing

I know that not every American is this stupid... But to think that there are 25000 actual people there tonight is so sad... Like do they not have the common sense to know how dangerous this is

We have a culture in the US where Americans don't like to be told what cannot have or what they cannot do. The more people are being told to stay home, stop having gatherings, etc, the more inclined we are as a country to do the opposite. It's very disturbing because at this rate the US may as well just accept that COVID will be endemic. We will literally be the main country where people will get exposed to COVID...once everywhere else is under control...so yeah.

It's a culture based on the appearance of "freedom" .... more like Free DOOM.

Americans are one of the most entitled and arrogant people on the face of the Earth.

Ironically not realizing their government does nothing for them and actually keeps them as economic slaves denying them basic human rights which many other Western nations enjoy.

We're not all like that though...I'm not enjoying any of this and think it's disgusting.

^You know, I have not seen any of my friends or gone out or done anything since March of last year. I'm basically with my family all of the time. I have friends that have met up for birthday parties, Halloween, etc. (of course with masks and outdoor dining options). I haven't done anything. I don't want to go out if I don't have to. I don't want to risk infecting others. But I also can't blame my friends and others like them. Like I truly can't. The isolation at times is awful and I can't imagine how it must be for people who live in unstable homes and even school-aged kids right now who really do need the socialization a school environment provides. I don't agree with a lot of my friends and others going out even if they are wearing masks and taking precautions...but I do understand it...to a point....keyword being...to a point.

I can't support this, though. This truly is the epitome of stupidity in my country and this is just selfish. I don't even want to think of the aftermath of such a crowd gathering.

25,000 is too many. It should’ve been like a few thousand families kept on private boxes or something. Maybe like just the player’s relatives and children.

The $6,753 Super Bowl Ticket and Other Roadblocks Won’t Stop Some Fans

For these ticket-holders, the allure of seeing their team in the Super Bowl overrides other considerations: “On my deathbed, this will probably be one of the top five days I remember in my life, you know?”

Sure. Waiting for the next ambulance or respirator, you moron...

Super Bowl fever sweeps Tampa! Football fans defy mask mandate and pack into crowded bars and restaurants on the eve of the big game
• A tailgating party began outside of Raymond James Stadium on Saturday night
• RVs and trucks were seen setting up ahead of Super Bowl LV in footage posted to social media
• Earlier in the night, a firework show with a pirate theme launched the celebrations
• Pictures showed crowds gathered on boats to watch the show or packed together on the Riverwalk
• Many weren't wearing masks depite the city's mandate ahead of the game
• Hundreds were walking without face coverings from Saturday afternoon onward
• As night fell, bars and restaurants were crammed with maskless partygoers and no social distancing

Probably most of them trumpies, qanons and flathearthers. So what do you expect ?

Late to the party but I got a diamond heart

I am sorry if you thought that was rude but it was honestly not my intention to be rude to you. I agree with that but it is what it is rn so there’s really not much he as a president could do (especially in Florida)..

The US politics system is so f*cked up

You obviously aren’t American. Each state is ran like it’s own mini country and they president has very little authority over state laws.

Nice try.

I’m not American. I thought the president at least had some powers to stop the spread of COVID

He can’t regulate state level decisions.

Dude..... most of the “people” are cardboard cut-outs. Y’all are really THAT stupid? :awkney::billie: Everyone is supposed to be social-distancing throughout the crowd. When the camera zooms in on the crowd during the game you can easily tell.

Born This Way

It's the biggest Republican event of the year so I'm not surprised, I'm just pissed. I hate that sporting sh*t has been able to continue during this pandemic and the whole country has suffered from it. These people literally have the brain capacity of cows.

Man here we go again with the American hate on this website. Most Americans aren’t In this stadium, and don’t want to be. Please don’t group all of one people in a country together. Y’all preach and preach about this, then y’all turn around and say the most ignorant **** on this site.

Yes, those people in the stadium, in my opinion are being selfish and dumb, but they don’t represent a whole damn country. Plus it’s Florida. Laws are different in each state.
