You’re completely negating Chase’s artistic direction and her vision. And for what? Did you get the partner? Is your bank account bigger? Just say it’s not for you and keep it pushing! Knowing that people said hip hop wasn't music, and before it they said r&b and soul wasn't music, and that rock n roll wasn't music, and before it they said jazz was the biggest insult to music, and before it they said baroque music (which today many lump with classical music as if it's the same thing) was called an abomination by classicsl musicians... how can you say that, knowing that a few generations from now, they will think how wild it is that some people actually tried to gatekeep music in the 2020's?

I say this as someone who has never listened and would probably never listen to music like this, I don't get it. But I don't have the audacity to say it's not music, because I don't wanna look foolish 20 years from now

I did not intend to start arguments, I was stating my opinion on a forum. I will disagree with her ‘artistic’ vision as I do not like this song. Last time I checked, I came to this forum to express opinions and this is what I did.
