The production is so meticulously crafted to grab your ear every few seconds, the choices of synths are very quirky and fun, and it constantly switches between relatively stripped back instrumentation and overproduced bliss almost flawlessly. All her albums are very polished though, but ARTPOP gets the edge because of its ambition and its outstanding execution. TF and TFM are polished but they don’t need to juggle as much as ARTPOP does. Joanne and Chromatica are also very polished but in their case it goes too far, they are way too squeaky clean and sanitized.
