Last time I was pretty active here was last year, and the last post I made was how I felt 'betrayed' around the months that Gaga was completely silent- like before the Chromatica oreo announcement. I talked here about how I felt lost and weirded out that Gaga wasn't interacting with us anymore, since in past years Gaga used to be so talkative with us. Maybe it was in those past habits that Gaga learned her lesson towards her social media activity, and I think this is the opportunity for me to learn from my mistakes as well. Learning the news of how Gaga had a family member hospitalized for 2 months shook me to the core. How she shared that most of the time she was the only one to stay in and be with that family member made me remember how terrifying it is to be in that position. In 2017, my baby sister was diagnosed with a rare heart disease with no name. And, the night that we rushed her to the hospital was also the same day as our grandfathers' funeral. My sister was also admitted for 2 months, and I was also one of the family members that looked after her for nights until dawn. It was a very terrifying time, and I'm glad my sister is now well today, thank God. I think I want to take this opportunity, if ever Gaga actually sees this, to apologize to her and to everyone for having high expectations from her for a stupid album era in the middle of a crisis. This album, Chromatica, has been my friend and escape outside of this pandemic, and I wish I knew earlier how to be grateful for this music. I'm sorry Gaga and I'm sorry everyone. I wish we, as a collective were more kind towards each other and to Gaga and her team. I wish we were more loving and understanding to each other. I think that's what this album and message is all about. So, let's take our first steps today to change the air in our community. I love you everyone. I hope we can learn through this that no one owes anyone an explanation for not sharing their lives online and that its perfectly ok to keep personal stuff out of social media, that its also ok to take a step back without that having to jeopardise one’s integrity to their community.
