Do these guys realize that the first stimulus, and this one, set up a public fund to cover the covid hospital bills for uninsured people :bear: :flop:

They didn't come to any agreement, and Biden said that the aid couldn't wait for negotiations, that's why it's still going through.

$1400 is a step in the right direction, and that paired with the earlier $600 is shaping up to be pretty good. Economists have already stated that it's sufficient. They aren't giving the full $2000 because congress just passed $600. $1400 + $600 is $2000, hun.

That last bit doesn't even deserve a response. Not only is it sensational and untrue, but it's entirely disingenuous to the discussion at hand. Stop trolling.

Also they passed the additional $600 unemployment relief every two weeks That Trump and the Republicans let expire.

This is Bullshit. Plenty of people with Covid have delayed receiving treatment thinking that they'll be able to tough it out and have ended up dead. Don't insult my intelligence. We'll figure this out afterwards like we always do.

I understand that you don't prioritize giving poor people health care during a pandemic. And that's fine. You can expose yourself all you want.

Trump gave the 600 earlier :flop:

I want to give the sickest people healthcare, regardless of income, which is exactly what this stimulus bill does

You want to give out healthcare like it’s an infinite resources which is naive and laughable

I'm trying to figure out how propagandized you are.

How many Democrats in the Senate do you think would vote yes on M4A?

You've already got your PhD in bootlicking school.

Literally not many bc it’s a bad idea right now to restructure a fifth of our economy when the industry is going thru a pandemic wtf are you smoking

You literally are convinced that there’s an illegal international conspiracy going on to buy out Democrats, when in reality your idea is just BAD

Giving poor people health care during a pandemic is a "bad idea."

Lmao, you monster.

I never said that, either. Nice straw man though.

Democrats accept legal bribes in the form of corporate donations.

M4A or universal health care is a BAD idea.

You really hate poor people, don't you?

Democrats literally can’t accept corporate donations Jesus Christ napgnapfne

THIS BILL GIVES INSURED PEOPLE PUBLICLY COVERED HOSPITAL BILLS hahahaha

Trump gave the 600 earlier :flop:

Poor people have healthcare. They have Medicaid.

No one with severe Covid that needs hospitalization is turned away from the ER.

The cost for a Covid hospital stay is so expensive that it will be written off by being passed onto insured patients in the future.

The Senate gave the 600 earlier. Republicans wanted to give 600, instead of the 2,000 the Democrats wanted to give. Therefore, the Democrats are making it so that individuals get the 2,000 that was proposed by them in the first place.

Jesus f*cking christ. Millions and millions of people do not have health insurance. I never said anyone was turned away from the ER so keep straw manning fo your lack of argument.

Is this news to you? omg

That 600 was given under Trump. I'm sorry that you cannot change history.

That is correct. They will not be turned away from getting care. They will receive the same care as people who do have insurance. That cost will be passed onto the insured. Insurance, Medicare, Medicaid and the ACA cover the majority of people in the US.

Also, expanding the ACA through state benefits from the Federal Government would be faster than trying to pass an entirely new healthcare system.

First things first- getting some relief to the lower and middle class, getting schools open, protecting renters, and UI expansion.
