Meghan Markle erases her names from her son birth certificate

Harry and Meghan secretly erased her first names from son Archie’s birth papers.

“Rachel Meghan” was taken out to leave just “Her Royal Highness the Duchess of Sussex”.

Archie birth was registered on May 17. The change was made on June 5 amid rumours of a growing rift between Harry, brother William and their partners.
Days later, the Sussexes walked away from the Fab Four’s joint charity.

I thought they’d denounced their royal  duties and eloped to Canada or America or wherever they are now. If they’re not going to be an active part of the Royal Family here in the U.K. they don’t deserve to keep the title at all imo

Nah, they were told to give up the titles once they left the royal family. You don't get to have your cake and eat it too.

They never gave up their title—legally. They’re just refraining from using it especially HRH as part of their stepping down as senior royals. The queen never issued a letter patent to withdraw their titles. Legally they’re still TRH Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
