You actually don't need a subscription or trial to listen to it. It streamed from the embedded player on LGN's page just fine for me. (Maybe try listening to it on desktop if you're on mobile, so it doesn't redirect to the app?)

For anyone hungry for more Joe Germ drama/updates: Tying in with the Safety seals for businesses, Gaga was asked about Joanne Trattoria and the effect the pandemic has had on it:

"it's a wonderful restaurant, and he's very, very proud of it and I'm so very proud of it as well"

[the pandemic --] "it's been very difficult for my father"

"you know, we're a family but my father's always been very proud to have his own business and work very hard on his own, and he's really been suffering"

"he's not the only one, and he understands that. he's also a man of community, and he cares a lot about the restaurants in the neighborhood as well"

This was aimed at all the LMs shaming him for embarrassing her for talking about his struggling restaurant, and to the GP for shaming her for leaving her father destitute. He clearly wants to do it himself and not use his daughter's money. He can't win though, bc if he took a handout from her y'all would call him a leech.

Im not defending his politics. I never mentioned them actually. I'm talking about his right to fight for his business, a fight that Gaga clearly supports.

I think the only reason people go after him really is because he is believed to be a Trump supporter. He would probably have gotten more sympathy otherwise. Not saying it's right to do that or anything, but it is what it is. 

Anywho, Gaga obviously wasn't going to say anything bad against her father in a interview that's not even related to him, because 1. She loves her father regardless. 2.She is very media trained. She's not going to say anything to get her family dragged or detract from the purpose of the interview.

Right, but I think what Gaga said is true. He does care about the community restaurants and is using his access to these platforms to fight for them. He doesn't need to be worrying about this at his age. He could easily sit at home until the whole thing is over but he's reminding Cuomo etc that not all restaurants will survive, even if his will.
