Did I said that? No.

Disagree all you want, but there's no point of posting stuff like that to groups that don't care or hate on it.

There's no real conversation, no one is listening and people are just hating on each other.

Human race is so ignorant that they can't even consider being wrong, because how something so normalized can be so evil? Uh ah.

Eating is not evil.

All animals use the tools they have available to them to feed themselves. And they definitely don't care about what other animal they're eating. Also, some just kill for fun, without even needing it. They don't care. Nature is cruel.

We, as humans, have the cognitive ability to define what is moral or not, but in reality, we could kill everything and probably die out as a species without resources left. And so we categorized other species as "pets", "food", "tools", "entertainment", "pests", etc, in order to justify what we can kill or not, to make sure there will be continuity to these other species we depend on. Nature wouldn't care either way. The universe will still exist long after we are gone.

There's a difference between farming animals for food and torturing them for entertainment, and only one of these things should really be condemned.

It may take some time, but it’s definitely time to have this conversation around speciesism. Just wish PETA didn’t alienate so many people! Anything we can do to get away from meat and dairy is a worthwhile endeavor. Time to challenge normative scripts of society!

Correct but unfortunately it takes some critical thinking and I think a majority just dont care enough.

The hardest thing in this world is to live in it

It’s not your eating that is evil, it’s your support of unethical industries.

Thanks for your support. I think the content of animal welfare has (sometimes) been presented in such a way that people react strongly and push back against it. I’m curious how to move people toward meat/dairy free without alienating them.

Do people realise that most of the animals they wish to protect would be slaughtered if they ban meat/animal products as most livestock such as cows, sheep, pigs etc cannot survive in the wild properly and it's not safe for them to be free to roam the streets in herds.

What would they propose to do with the millions of animals that are no longer consumed and are homeless?

They're against Zoos too so I hope all the members of PETA are planning to get pet Cows to prevent their slaughter.

Do you think factory farms would magically close overnight? It would be a gradual process resulting in less and less animals being bred into existence for slaughter.

I'm all for respecting animals and treating them humanely, but this is ridiculous. No one can and will ever convince me that an ant and a human being are worth the same. Humans are superior, to an extent.

Besides, it's not like the natural world sees it that way either. Nature is ****ing brutal. I'm not saying that humans aren't either. For example, the meat industry is just awful. I wish we could change their practices, but I also wouldn't wish that meat was extinct from our diets. That just doesn't make sense.

Going meat and dairy free is an animal rights issue, it has nothing to do with animal welfare.

Sorry it seems minor but they're two very different things and I wish actual animal welfare got more attention.

Do you feel him sir?
