sarahb 17,188
Does this mean someone who kills a mosquito gets the same punishment as someone that kills a human I mean it'd be speciesist to do otherwise right? Do you feel him sir?

imnotyourbabe10 6,120
It may take some time, but itâs definitely time to have this conversation around speciesism. Just wish PETA didnât alienate so many people! Anything we can do to get away from meat and dairy is a worthwhile endeavor. Time to challenge normative scripts of society! Ricksies 527
Do people realise that most of the animals they wish to protect would be slaughtered if they ban meat/animal products as most livestock such as cows, sheep, pigs etc cannot survive in the wild properly and it's not safe for them to be free to roam the streets in herds. What would they propose to do with the millions of animals that are no longer consumed and are homeless? They're against Zoos too so I hope all the members of PETA are planning to get pet Cows to prevent their slaughter.

But if that's the case, we should behave like other animals and not give a **** about what we kill or not. Other animals don't care either. It actually is absolutely not the time  there are much worse things to worry about in the world at the moment. Specieism is a joke and it's shameful that they'd lump that in with ****ing racism and homophobia. When will they understand that shaming people for eating meat will do nothing but make people want to eat more meat. I will gladly become vegan if I have the means but not because these people bullied me into believing I share the same rights with cockroaches. chaeri pls

TimisaMonster 31,073
This type of extremism towards humans vs animals is so unnecessary...are animals abused? Yes... Should we help stop the extinction of animals? Yes...Do humans need to pretend that they aren't the dominant species of the planet and without human intervention some animal species would be worse off? No...
