I sing about my struggles with cult trauma and abuse. I was raised as a Jehovah Witness and it was extremely toxic for me.  I thought of ending my life at times, but I rose above my mistreatment and I pushed myself to endure and become "Sapphire Phoenix", so I could escape that ugly cult! The lyrics are heavy and the rock guitars give an edgy vibe over a pop dance beat, but the overall tone and message I want to get across is I'm not a victim, I'm a survivor! I'm still here and I'm the happiest I've ever been in life doing what I love most...making music!
