Actually the government already did know, even Trump. They knew since December 2019 :bradley:

Yea, sadly because we didn't have much of a federal response at all during that time, individual states decided when to lockdown. Living on multiple state lines myself, that was obviously not going to work because you could drive 10 minutes and you're "out" of a lockdown. It doesn't work if everyone isn't following the same rules.

Pretty much highlights the contrast in the current (new) administrations goals vs. the previous 'witless ape'

Truly. I'd bet good money that had this all gone down under Biden's admin from start to now, we'd have a lot less cases and a LOT less deaths. Other countries that followed Biden's plan from Jan 2020 are already open and have been for MONTHS :deadbanana:

I doubt that. Do u know how many false alarms of threats have been dramatized by media over the years?

I dont find it surprising mamy didnt take it seriously. Theres a boy who cried wolf factor there and media is largely responsible and it should not be surprising ppl including politicians didnt take it that seriously inniyially

Its literally been over 100 years since last major global pandemic. Yet Sars, Swine Flue, Ebola etc every time was dramatized like the sky was falling and it never became serious

Its not surprising many assumed this was gonna just be another one of those

Big difference between what the media knew and the government knew. American agents within China knew about how contagious and how deadly the virus was and relayed that to washington. It was Trump's inaction that prevented us from really moving on it. Take the tapes where Trump was admitting how deadly and dangerous it was in February, they knew sis.

To be fair there have been some pretty serious threats. My friends mom is a PT at a major hospital, during the Ebola outbreak they trained their entire staff on how to handle Ebola patients and set up an Ebola treatment wing in preparation for a potential outbreak. it was an extremely stressful week for her :messga:

Agreed. But thats exactly the kind of reason i say it was easy to dismiss it innitially. So many false alarms

SARS, Swine Flu, and Ebola all could be been pandemics tho if it weren’t for the WHO, UN, and major states intervening?

You really have no point here. Viruses pop up all the time and yes the media focuses on them bc if we didn’t protect ourselves and heed that warning there would be more pandemics...

But from the get-go, like in Dec 2019, we knew (and it was reported that) it was more contagious and more deadly that SARS and the Swine Flu.

You blaming the media for this pandemic and leaders like Trump for not taking it seriously is some next level deranged BS.

Wtf those weren’t false alarms, they were ALARMS that world leaders like the WHO and US listened to, thus we squashed them!

So just like Trump

We all may not have agreed with Trump and he was a piece of ****, but he was certainly anything but stupid, you can’t even get close to that far if you’re not a genius in some sort of way :poot:

He wanted to inject disinfectant into people to cure them of Covid, asked if you could nuke a hurricane, looked at a solar eclipse without eye protection, wanted to use alligator moats along his wall, said he met with the president of the Virgin Islands, wanted to build a border wall in Colorado, wanted to rake forests to prevent fires, called Tim Cook 'Tim Apple', thinks exercise depletes the body of energy, thought F-35 jets are invisible, said the revolutionary army took over airports in 1775, said windmill noise causes cancer and once bankrupted a casino.

Do you feel him sir?
