it's because there was an artistic shift. There was this hudge phenomenal.... Pop sensation, costumes...

(For me) it's all over since the meat dress. This was the epitome, and thus the fatal end of what fans from the beginning still seem to mourn for. This intricate artsy thing. There was the ARTPOP 'era' and the "I'm every icon concept" that was basically the swan song, and then, the brutal shift with Joanne, and the hyper cohesive Chromatica - basically this era was exploited like what I will call 'a regular rock'n'roll roll out from interscope'. A lot of artists only milk two singles and two clips from their album and this is simply the facts of life.

But what we witness now is on another level. She's history. She's forever. And what will come after still feel very promising. 

I think the visual aspect has come to such a big level that some artists do all the crazy stuff and feel bland at the same time (I'm not gonna namedrop).. 

The moments that Gaga saved my life was when I couldn't breathe anymore and I needed my I pod and my headphones and my eyes closed and my body moving. For me all the rest is pure distraction. 

It's all in the music.

Most fans complaining about Chromatica promo still after today are the same ones that kept harassing her to make a music video for The Cure while she was filming A Star is Born. Their thinking is so limited.

Please, please guys... Let's have the new wind of freedom of this fabulous day blowing over our heads for some more blessed moments before going back to the petty fights of day by day fanbase life.

The true essence of believing in someone, of rooting for the one you love is TRUST. Much has beeing said about trust and the way one has to gain it. Sometimes trust is more like a blind leap of faith. You need to believe there's a way out on the other side when entering the tunnel. 

I also crave for Gaga's presence. It's feels so good to see her, to listen to her fabulous voice. When she's not around, I feel tense and dull. Like I felt during these four last years for America. And then there's today and all is instantly forgotten. Like the constant headache when a bad flu is over. So we have to endure. Yes.

We have to endure missing Gaga sometimes when she's out of sight. But we never ever have to lose faith and trust in her. Cause she'll be back. Like America is back today.

We actually could start by telling people to leave (or maybe throw them out?) who call her "old looking" and "bloated".

To me, this is body shaming. Something I despise and we all know how Gaga feels about body shaming.

 

I´m not saying that people can´t have their opinions on things. I don´t agree with everything she has done in her career....so I´m not a blind super fan that loves everything she has done... but I think body shaming is a no go (like calling someone fat or old or bloated etc.)

And the threads about her singing abilities declining really are non sense... Everyone has bad days or times in their lives and she is human and not a robot with a "push to sing button" and it comes out like on a CD.

You wouldn´t be here if she was a bad singer, so why bother opening these useless threads?

@NickyPuppy All that you say is true. But in fact it all relies to frustration. Frustration is the breeding ground of impatience, intolerance, mistrust and finally the wost of all to me : betrayal.

But yes. It's not easy to be supportive during times of absence or defeat.

We are her little monsters. We have to trust her and show our support no matter what. Cause a little monster should never forget that, despite some songs or wigs he likes or dislikes, deep inside - inside - inside, Gaga always tries her best. Even if her ways are sometimes mysterious and impenetrable. But that's the way this woman is and the very reason we love her as well. Don't we ?

Yes and No. Yes because the experience has changed over a decade 4 sure. No because it's just a superstar and the best thing you could do for everybody and you first is to forget about it. Not give attention, don't buy the things anymore... I thinks it's the best way to get out of this frustration. If everyone does that, the artist realises there is something to change. If you tell directly the artist that he's wrong, then you will probably reinforce the problem instead of solving it. People don't like being criticised.

You don't need right to be frustrated. You just are. But it's no reason to turn your back to people or things you like. Things are not always coming easy. Show some backbone, clench your fists and stop acting like a spoildt child. It's like pissing against the rain. Useless. I love her and support her in all of her career decisions. But on the other hand, you also need to stop shaming fans for wanting content from their fave - at the end of the day, it comes from a place of love, and there’s nothing wrong with having feelings as long as you keep things respectful. Being a fan is also having the bravery to have a critical opinion, and it’s ok.

the point is that Taylor put much more efforts in her work in opposite to gaga! we all must confess that she feeded her fanbase as much as possible. and in gagas case we must confess that she is not caring so much about her last album sadly . imo she just made this album to fill the contract

and sorry making weird cookies and soaps and singing a song for the president is not the effort she normally do when she would care ! i have the feeling that she don't like her own era.

and you know its ok its her decision, but just i think its no wonder why some stars have a more loyal fanbase than others ... sorry not sorry

ps: how tired we are to catch a little bit of a hint that the chromatica era hasn't end. instead of making promo for a make up brand ,the world doesn't need ...  just sayin

And the summary is this, you think that whoever points out some dissatisfaction should leave and that will not happen. Not all fans will be happy with all her decisions, there will be disagreements, period. Stop acting like superiors and put words in the mouth of others.

 

Fact is that this is a forum where 99% of users log in to CELEBRATE Gaga. Nobody comes here logs in thinking "welp I'm in the mood to read someone trashing my favorite singer".

Everyone is allowed a negative opinion, but that doesn't mean it's worth posting all the time. Should we be critical of Gaga sometimes? Yes. But read the room, and try not to bring everyone who is having a good time down with you.

Nothing wrong in wanting that content. But content doesn't come often from where or when you want. So a more welcoming attitude allows you to catch all the small goodies and enjoy them when they appear. Instead of stubbornly waiting for things to unfold the very way you want. And finally to end up in more frustration.

i'm not bothered about psycho fans with no life who are here 24/7 commenting every little move from Gaga I love her and almost everything she does, but... people should really put more efforts to their self-development rather than "suggesting" anything to Bobby, because they doing what they knows best. You complaing because Gaga didn't release mv for Sour Candy or didn't do a promo for 911? Well... she is constantly busy with other projects. The same attitude were on this site when she was so engaged in making of ASIB. When the movie and soundtrack came and universal acclaim everybody was happy.
