They will not postpone it another year because 2022 is the winter Olympics. 2024 has already been given to Paris (?) so why screw up two Olympics when you can just cancel one and cut your losses. There is no way that they can happen safely this year... Even with a limited audience, it's a threat because there are so many people in delegations for each country.
