Yup! If it was already a 50/50 split, and one of the halves splits, 25/25/50 on a ballot means a safe margin for the Democrat. More left candidates could easily win primaries if this turns out to be the case.

You know, as much as I think the whole "He was a democrat plant" theories are obviously bullshit, because why would someone with his ego ever "take one for the team" but he really has completely destroyed conservatives.
