Maybe I misinterpreted your first reply, but to me that message was just about Trump's specific failures as a president and his own policy that worsened the issue, which was why I replied how I did. I think we need to be unafraid to call fascism what it is especially now, and it came across to me like you were downplaying Trump's contribution I just saw how they were calling you a Trump supporter for criticizing Obama lol... They don’t know there are other options than Republican and Democrat, and that the Democrats are liberal, not leftist. Poor things.

That's where the misunderstanding is then. There's people here in the states who are serving years in jail because they were caught with an ounce or two of weed or because they couldn't afford to pay a fine. I'm arguing that they should be allowed to retain their voting rights. What you're talking about is taking voting rights away from felons (people who commit crimes like murder). Which isn't something I'm really going to argue with If someone's in prison for taking a life then yeah, maybe they don't need to vote. But if they just couldn't pay a fine or something then that's different. Do you agree? Whimsical bitch

Monster647 444
I don’t get it really. They are doing a revision to immigration which gives bunch of rights to illegal immigrants but they are not doing anything about high skilled workers ? Good for people who benefit from this but I see this as a pseudo-gerrymandering by fabricating future voters at its best. Why would US want to expand paths that basically encourage illegal immigration while doing nothing to improve pathways for qualified immigrants which have been the source of American power, besides being blessed with every imaginable natural resources, from Einstein to contemporary Silicon Valley, more than 40% of silicon valley workforce are immigrants. PS: Doctoral exemption mentioned in the article is tokenistic at best. Very very small minority of people outside academia has PhD.

This is only the beginning and is supposed to be a part of a larger scale plan, let’s wait and see what’s happening, it’s only day 1 before we assume they’re simply gerrymandering for votes

While this would be noble in a perfect world, in the US jails are private corporations that depend on the amount of jailed people to keep existing, which means people (especially minorities) are jailed for the stupidest of reasons. See Kamala's record as a prosecutor, for example. Former First Lady of the United States. Now card-carrying member of the Communist Party of China (CPC).
